Jon Larsen

In Search of Stardust

The Solar system is a dusty place. Every day app. 100 tons of cosmic dust fall down to Earth, mainly as micrometeorites. They are mineral particles in the size of sand grains or smaller, and fall down upon us at all times, evenly distributed all over the globe. Micrometeorites can be found on rooftops, and we step on them on the road, still little is known about these exotic aliens from Space.

About the book

The author Jon Larsen became the first to manage to find these amazing stones from the outer Solar system in populated areas – in fact they can be found in the nearest roof's gutter. In the book Larsen is explaining how everybody with a minimum of inexpensive equipment can find their own micrometeorites.

Meteorite hunting has become a popular interest, and after the release of this book we believe that the hunt for micrometeorites will become the next branch of the topic. Join the hunt for the extraterrestrial!

It has already taken a decade to accomplish the book In Search of Stardust for release 16 June 2016 – order today!
